Welcome to Room 1!  I am committed to creating a learning environment that uses the latest state of the art technology.  It will be challenging and capture your child attention with this amazing way to learn.  All students will be able to accelerate at their own rate.  I believe that all students can succeed with two or three years growth in one year.  Students are held to high expectations both behaviorally and academically.  

The classroom door is open every morning for reading intervention.  The new technology programs have had amazing results in the past.  These programs give us creative lessons and units that require high levels of critical thinking, problem solving, and student engagement. 

My students have opportunities to participate in a variety of events led by our 5th grade team.  We will be going to Scout Island in April for our field trip.  We will be in the Christmas Parade on the first Saturday in December. It's a great time of year to enjoy a community event that your child can participate in.

We believe that parents are an integral part of their student’s success. We encourage all parents to get involved at Lincoln School and contribute to your child’s education. You can log into Accelerated Reading, Achieve 3000, and Prodigy Math to see how your child is progressing all year long.
